Abound HR is the professional endeavor of Jennifer Betz, a Colorado-based HR professional with over 25 years of professional HR leadership experience in a variety of industries, from tech, to construction, telecom and healthcare. After years of being "on the inside", leading teams, and creating programs and processes to grow an organization and align people to strategy, Jen decided it was time to take it to the next level and really challenge herself, and her clients, in a new way. She brings her passion for people to create meaning and value that ultimately results in profits. 

Jen grew up in the Sooner State and holds her Bachelors degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. She holds a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Human Resources Organization, Performance and Change from Colorado State University. She holds professional certifications, including but not limited to, the SPHR from HR Certification Institute and SHRM-SCP from the Society for Human Resource Management, and has executive training from Harvard Business School's Executive Program on Driving Performance through Talent Management. Jen's passion is culture and strategy with a focus in leadership development and building effective teams. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. When she isn't working, she tries to spend as much time as possible figure skating.
